E.M Tran is a Vietnamese-American writer from New Orleans, Louisiana. Her writing can be found in places such as: The Georgia Review, Literary Hub, Joyland Magazine, Prairie Schooner, Harvard Review online and more. She completed her MFA in Creative Writing at University of Mississippi and her PhD in Creative Writing and English from Ohio University.
